Mora is a personal journal app designed around one principle: your thoughts are yours.
Nothing. Mora does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no cloud storage, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party services.
Every journal entry, time capsule, and photo you create in Mora is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device storage. Your data never leaves your phone.
Mora does not require or support user accounts. The name you enter during setup is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
We do not use any analytics frameworks, crash reporting tools, or tracking pixels. We have no way to see how you use the app, what you write, or when you open it.
If you enable notifications, Mora schedules local reminders on your device. These are processed entirely by iOS and never involve our servers (we don't have servers).
Photos you attach to journal entries are stored as part of your on-device journal data. They are never uploaded, synced, or shared unless you explicitly use the iOS share sheet.
Deleting the Mora app from your device permanently deletes all your data. There is no backup, no cloud copy, and no way for us to recover it — because we never had it.
Mora does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page. Given that we collect nothing, we don't anticipate changes.
